How to Take Care of One's Skin?

Women have always been the most beautiful part of humanity. And they have to, otherwise there would be nobody to perform this function. A man doesn't need to be beautiful, he has to perform many other functions but not this special one. Besides he wouldn't manage even if he had to.

With years it becomes more and more difficult to remain young and beautiful. We don't get younger, but older and older. Suddenly a lot of illnesses appear, we become rather passive and our appearance is not a subject of admiration any longer. The first signs of our getting old are reflected on our skin.

The commonest factors, which ruin our skin, are: 1. First of all the natural process of aging. I hope everyone knows about Eve's sin and why we are getting old now; 2. Natural conditions such as the sun, wind, humidity and temperature fluctuations influence the structure of our skin badly; 3. Environmental pollution, especially the pollution of the air; 4. We also ruin the structure of our skin by smoking, taking medicine, drinking too much coffee, tea, alcohol and overcoming stress.

The most simple remedies for the skin are: sleep, water (no less than 6 glasses per day), balanced feeding and physical activity (each your move intensifies blood circulation, which is good for your skin). But it's just an abstract, general answer to the question "How to take care of one's skin?" Let's dig deeper.

There are several types of the skin and each of them needs an individual care. Thus your skin may be greasy (usually with wide pores, blackheads and greasy brightness), dry (with unseen pores, often irritated and rough), normal (no wide pores, no spots, with an even color everywhere), sensitive (irritated,often with red spots, peeling and itch) or integrated (when cheeks are dry but your forehead and chin are greasy). By the way, dry skin covers with wrinkles quicker than other types.

After you've determined the type of your skin you should select a proper care for it. Fortunately, nowadays exist a lot of various cosmetic campaigns, which may offer you a great choice of cosmetic means for caring your facial skin, body skin, no matter of what type it is. There are various kinds of lotion, tonic, cream (daily, night, for eyelids, for wrinkles, for different types of the skin) and a number of masks, most of which you can do at home (made of fruits, vegetables, herbs,...).

Each of them performs different functions: moisten (if your skin is dry), remove swellings (usually around eyes; it can be some cream for eyelids), clean your skin from blackheads, smooth out wrinkles and so on. Before using any of the named above cosmetic means don't forget firstly to clean your skin properly. And be careful with choosing the appropriate cosmetic care for your skin and read the instruction on each packing attentively, otherwise it may destroy the skin structure even more than it was.

And do not look only at your face in the mirror! Don't forget about hands and neck which also get older first. I would advise all housewives to wash dishes and clothes only wearing special gloves and, of course, to use cream at least every evening for smoothing the skin of your hands. Your neck also needs to be moistened regularly, especially after a shower. And cool-warm herbal compresses would be very useful too.

Certainly, it needs time to choose the perfect cream or mask appropriate to your skin. That's why, when you've done it, do not change it to anything else even if it's rather expensive for you. Remember: greedy man pays twice!
