Beauty requires sacrifices. Usually not all males and not always care about their appearance, while all females without any exception strive for being beautiful. Therefore, women are the ones who sacrifice to Venus.
Let us take hair removal, for example: very often the procedure is painful and dangerous, because the least what we can suffer from is a scratch or a cut with a razor, and the worst is the unsuccessful electrolysis or laser hair removal.
I wish men only knew all the details of the hair removal process. I guess they would treat us crazy. Nevertheless, we can stand anything to be irresistible.
Shaving. This method is simple and cheap. It is a pity it does not last long. To make the procedure even easier, moisturize the area which is going to be shaved with shaving cream, hair conditioner, body wash or at least water. It is worthy to add that some razors are equipped with special coolers, which slide on the skin before the blade and make it a kind of numb for some time.
To make plucking easier, you should also cover skin with any solid cream. By the way, this hair removal method is more effective (though more painful), as it takes hair longer to grow again.
Waxing is quite painful. It aches to remove wax with hair from the skin, but the worst thing is that some wax can still remain on after the procedure, and it is difficult to get rid of it. Nowadays there exists a cold waxing. This method is said to be better as wax sticks to hair only, not to the skin.
Hair removal with depilatories is relatively painless. You only have to know whether you are allergic to any components of the given cream. To discover it, apply some depilatory onto the small area for at least 48 hours before the hair removal. Sometimes skin after a depilatory is irritated, because the chemical can melt the skin cells away. To avoid or decrease irritation, cover the treated area with hydrocortisone cream.
Due to the firm claims of many doctors and patients, laser hair removal is one of the most painless methods. The growing popularity of it shows that these are not hollow words. Anyway, if we do not believe the doctors, we can have trust in the patients who have already experienced this method. If it is performed by an experienced doctor, be sure to have positive results. If you are still afraid of the procedure, you can always ask for an anesthetic.
Pain and electrolysis is a controversial question. Some patients confirm that the session is so painless, that it is possible to fall asleep during it (who knows, maybe it is boring to have electric currant running through the body, though I think I would not be bored with such an entertainment!). At the same time, many other experienced persons persuade that there is little funny about electrolysis, and anesthetic is always necessary.
I suspect that this information is not interesting for the masochists, as they do not avoid pain, on the contrary, they look for it (waxing and electrolysis must be the best for you); nevertheless, I hope all the rest learned something useful and helpful, which will make the choice of the hair removal method easier.
