Retin-A vs. Retin-A MICRO

I venture to claim that life is a wonderful thing; although many pessimists will state the opposite saying that it is hard because of multiple problems and difficulties a man may be faced with in the course of life. No way, fellows! Mother Nature is wise. Troubles were designed for us to be able to value happiness. How would one know he is happy if there were no problems at all, nothing to compare good things to?

Therefore, it is reasonable to say that everyday troubles are good. However, when unsolved, small problems may develop into big ones, which may be fraught with serious consequences, resulting in loosing happiness.

For such unpleasant thing as acne not to grow into the big problem (depression and low self-esteem, you know) the scientists have developed magic yellow crystalline powder known as tretinoin or vitamin A to treat this skin condition alongside with reducing the signs of aging.

These days tretinoin is the active ingredient of such medications as Retin-A and Retin-A MICRO. Both ointments are designed to be applied topically once a day on clean dry skin. They work by loosening the stuff that clogs pores and pushing it to the skin surface, where it can be washed away, thus keeping skin pores clear. However, these liniments make skin more susceptible to ultra-violet rays; therefore, patients are recommended to avoid sunlight during the treatment period, which, by the way, can be life-long for some people. Professionals note that there is no cure for acne; thus, sufferers must always keep it under control, preventing new outbreaks.

Tretinoin medications are available in cream and gel forms and in two strengths. Since this substance may cause skin irritation, doctors recommend some patients to use its lean solution.

Although both medications have much in common, differences do exist. First of all, Retin-A can be applied to the skin only in 20-30 minutes after showering or washing the face, while Retin-A MICRO is safe to be used immediately. Besides, the latter liniment has also the ability to reduce facial shine.

The main and very important difference between Retin-A and Retin-A MICRO is in their forms. The matter is that tretinoin in Retin-A MICRO is held within the Microsponge System. Microspheres of this system are microscopic particles of synthetic polymer. Such form of medication allows the active ingredient to be released to the skin in small amounts for a longer period of time.

The advantages of such system are obvious: first of all, due to its structure Retin-A MICRO is characterized by the lower levels of skin irritation. Thus, patients with sensitive skin may also use this medication safely, having the possibility to avoid or experience less reddening, itching, scaling or other side effects. Besides, microspheres are easier to be washed away during showering.

One more proof of the statement that small problems can easily be solved is the treatment with Retin-A and Retin-A MICRO, a pea-sized drop of which helps get rid of pimples and improve the looks of the skin. The same way, I mean, with the help of a tiny thing, a lot of problems can be solved; our task is to find and use that thing properly. So, good luck in solving small and preventing big troubles!
