Herpes - Once In, Never Out

Herpes seems to be the most vivid evidence that humans are sinful creatures. This viral disease would never target 45 millions of American people and much more millions throughout the world, provided that people did not break the God’s commandment on adultery so often.

So, what does herpes, mysterious and familiar at the same time, actually mean? By definition, herpes is a viral disease, different forms of which affect practically any human being on Earth. Its common scenario starts with itching, burning or pain on the areas around the mouth or on the genitals followed by the appearance of fluid-filled blisters. In a couple of days blisters burst, leaving painful ulcers, which dry and heal in 10 days.

Actually, there are two kinds of herpes virus, called type 1 and type 2. These virus types have different specialization in affecting the human body: type 1 targets the upper part of the body above the waistline, causing infection sores on lips, skin around the mouth and occasionally on nostrils, chin and fingers. This is usually called oral herpes or cold sores.

Herpes virus type 2 targets the body part below the waistline. Taking into account that genitals are the most vulnerable organs below the waistline and they are extremely convenient to use in transmitting the disease, the virus targets vulva and entrance to vagina in women and penis or testicles in men. This form of herpes is called genital.

The good news about herpes is that in the majority of cases it does not cause serious health disorders, but temporary skin problems and a feeling of discomfort. Unfortunately, other herpes news is not so good.

Once the herpes virus penetrated the human organism by means of close contact with an infected person, like kissing or sexual intercourse, the first thing it does as a true secret agent is hiding himself in the certain nervous cells, where the immune system, a bodyguard of human organism, can not get him.

Being settled comfortably in its new home, herpes virus periodically sends its particles to launch new attacks on the skin surface. These new attacks are called recurrences and can happen approximately 4 times a year.

The specific feature of herpes is that this disease is, so to say, extremely personalized. Its external manifestation and symptoms differ greatly among people. Someone can have serious painful blisters, appearing with strict periodicity and someone may even not know that the virus sits inside him and uses every comfortable occasion such as sex contact or a kiss to transmit a disease to other human.

To make the situation about herpes more optimistic, it should be underlined that human body has its own internal resources to fight the virus, called antibodies. They are formed in response to the initial invasion of herpes into the organism and serves to make all the next recurrences milder and less serious.

Besides, many treatment options are available to ease the pain, decrease the discomfort feeling during the blister stage, as well as speed up heeling. Nevertheless, the virus can not be destroyed once and forever – it remains in the organism to recall again and again that not following God’s tables can be seriously punished.

References to God and SIN as causes of Herpes are silly. This is a medical problem not payment for SINS. Not what I expected from this website! Trash!!

personally i think the information on this subject is incomplete. like all the other things that happen to our health. this is but guesswork. overtime it all changes. i may say that at best, the information given here is general in that it gives somewhat of a reasonable explanation but its not to be taken as gospel truth. thank you...

Of course, it is impossible to give all the information on herpes within one article. To cover the subject in greater details, we are working hard to discuss the issue in other articles in Herpes Center.

as far as the East is from the West, the Lord will remove the sin of the repentant. How dare you utter what you have, in attempting to divine God's own motive in creating, or in allowing to be created, such a disease.

My God tells me that pride comes before a fall. Take heed, and educate yourself to this, lest you come to the same ruin you smugly pronounce upon others.

OK, guys - whether you like it or not, but it is a fact that sexual contact is one of the primary ways of herpes transmission, especially if it goes about genital herpes... Hence, the more sexual contacts you have during the active outbreak of the disorder - the more you contribute to infection spreading... It is true, maybe bitter for someone, but true...

Of course, by saying \\\"sin\\\" I did not mean it in purely religious sense - it is a kind of metaphoric explanation of the herpes transmission. So, let us not turn faith into fanatism and focus more at medicinal condition...
